Free Outdoor Yoga in Des Moines 2020
Yoga. As a parent, we need a little “me” time. Yoga is the perfect way to relax, meditate, stretch, meet other people, and have fun. We are very lucky to have so many opportunities to enjoy some free outdoor yoga in Des Moines. I have collected an awesome list of places and dates where you can enjoy some “me” time.

Join Mary McCarthy and Yoga by Mary in the green space by Clive Aquatic Center for all ages yoga! This program is free simply bring a mat/towel and some water and enjoy yoga under the sky. Should there be poor weather the program will move into the Special Events Building but be limited in participation due to social distancing.

Yoga FROM the Park– Virtual
To keep our community safe, Des Moines Parks & Recreation is bringing yoga to you in 2020! Enjoy yoga from Gray’s Lake Park each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube. These virtual classes, taught by volunteer instructors from around the metro, are perfect for all skill levels, from curious beginner to advanced yogi.
- Saturday’s 9 to 10 a.m.
Yoga in the Park is designed for improving community health, energizing and relaxation. You are encouraged to bring a mat or a towel as well as some water and clothes you can move in. No registration for the class is required, just show up ready to relax, release and enjoy.
