Kid’s Yoga Classes in Des Moines

Kid’s Yoga Classes in Des Moines

My 4-year-old has a simple board book with yoga poses for kids and loves to teach them to me. Even my 1-year-old enjoys doing downward dog and being included in my (okay somewhat irregular) fitness routine. Yoga not only helps improve your child’s coordination, strength, and flexibility but certain breathing techniques can reduce stress, improve concentration, lower blood pressure, and help with emotional regulation. Some teachers even incorporate it into their classrooms for these reasons. There are many physical benefits, but tons of mental benefits as well. Certain yoga studios that cater to adults allow older children to attend with a parent so contact your local studio to check.

Grab your yoga mat, and water bottle, and check out these great places that offer Kid’s Yoga Classes in Des Moines.
