I love meal prep!  I love the entire process.  Putting together a weekly meal plan, making the grocery list, checking the ads to see where to get all the deals, going to the grocery store and chopping away at home to make my week easier.  I have a system, I have it down (most weeks!) and it works so well for us.

When I started my own business I knew I wanted to teach other families my system and help make their weeks easier.  Meal prep is key. That is what Return To The Table is all about.

I get it though.  It is not for everyone.  You either don’t have the time, the patience or you just hate it.  If you aren’t down for prepping yourself you will be surprised how many options we have in the Des Moines area to help you feed your family.  Des Moines has something for everyone. Here are some of my favorite meal prep services in Des Moines. 

Meaningful Meals by Chef Laura

Laura is a dear friend of mine and she is so passionate about food.  She makes it so easy for busy families because you can tell her what to cook or she can give you some ideas (like if you are tired of eating tacos two times a week!), she does the shopping and she comes to YOU and preps your meals for the week.  She can do full-size meals that you can pop in the oven for dinner or she can do individual meals. Everything she posts on social media looks delish!

Grateful Chef

I fangirl over Brandy Lueders and John Cornish who own Grateful Chef.  They have a sweet little storefront a few blocks from my home on the south side of Des Moines.  They have grab and go meals and they also post their weekly menu on facebook each Sunday with mouthwatering foods.  This is a great option to try something new as they are always offering new cuisines and they are always filled with veggies.  They have a pickup time on Wednesday and you can fill up your fridge for the week!

Dinner Delights

I have been seeing sightings of Dinner Delights all over my social media.  Andrea is a personal chef and she can help you and your friend’s coordinate freezer meal parties in your own home!  I love this idea.

Prep Kings

I have watched this business from the very beginning and they are killing it!  If you are counting calories or watching portions this is a great option for you.  They prep individual meals(including breakfast!) and snacks. They have pickups at several locations in Des Moines so you simply order off their weekly menu, pick up and heat up your meal!
