Meacham Place Park in Pleasant Hill, Iowa

Meacham Place Park is a brand-new playground in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. This playground immediately captures a child’s attention. As my child was playing she exclaimed “It feels like I’ve shrunk!” This playground makes a child feel small among the many oversized features. The main playground seems like it has endless ways for kids to climb and challenge their bodies. My kids loved the balance rope bridge and the swiggleknots! This playground’s wide but flattened slide was also a hit!

Meacham Place Park also has a 2-5-year-old lofted playhouse which has several features for younger kids to discover.  The little kids also will love the bouncers and spinners. The swingset has one infant seat, a standard swing, and one molded bucket seat.

Meacham Place Park is located at 610 E Oakwood Drive in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

My kids love checking out Over the Top ice cream shop, 955 NE 56th St in Pleasant Hill, after playing at Meacham Place Park and I love it’s just a mile away.

If you are looking for a nearby park with a sprayground, make sure you check out Doanes Park!  A great place to cool down in the summer and a huge climbing cube for kids to check out!
