Brook Run Park in Des Moines, Iowa
Brook Run Park is a classic neighborhood park in NE Des Moines. My kids love the improvements completed in the park in 2023. The classic but large spread out playground structure has many different ways to climb up and slide down.
With the improvements to the park, rubber tile surfacing was added, an all-inclusive merry-go-round, a couple of sensory boards, and a spinner. On the large swing set, they also added a bucket swing. My kids also loved running around the new large paved loop that goes around the basin.
