It’s almost time for our annual Turkey Time Family Glow Bowling Party with MOM approved music and totally alcohol-free! Glow-In-The-Dark Bowling, Concert Lights, and Black Lights. Lanes must be reserved and paid for by 6 pm on Friday, November 13.

Named as one of the best turkey trots in the country for 5 years running, The Des Moines Turkey Trot has become a staple for many families from around the state. However, in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, they have made plans to deliver their tradition in a whole new way.
It’s like if Harry & David’s threw with a murder mystery party, put it in a subscription box, and ran a 5k to celebrate… yeah, kind of like that.

Come out and celebrate more than 20 years of holiday lights. Bundle up the family and enjoy a 2.5-mile ride through more than 100 magical light displays. 100% of admission fees go directly to Make-A-Wish® Iowa! Since it began in 1995, the event has raised enough money to grant more than 900 wishes to Iowa kids! $20 per car.

Living History Farms
Experience over 700 feet of tunnels in this drive-thru animated light show! Enjoy our techno rainbow tunnel and themed worlds of light including dinosaur world. You can feel safe in this socially distanced, touch-free experience from the safety of your car. Online reservations are required.
