Des Moines
Des Moines Playhouse
831 42nd Street, Des Moines
On the second Saturday of the month, the Des Moines Playhouse offers Second Saturday just for teens. Join area teens, grades 6 through 12, for sketch comedy, fast-paced games, and think-on-your-feet in spur-of-the-moment situations. While this isn’t a class, it is planned and supervised by Playhouse education staff. You’ll work in groups of kids your own age, and meet theatre kids from all over the metro and beyond. Bring your friends. Everyone is welcome! Cost is $9.00 per month, payable with cash or checks at the door.

Skate North Incrediroll offers two special nights a week designated for teens! Admission is $8 and skate rental is $2.

I remember when I was a tween/teen meeting my friends to skate and hang out at Skate West every Friday night. Skate West offers open skate every Friday 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. Take a look at their website for pricing.
