Ames First United Methodist Church’s annual Family Noon Year’s Eve Party is BACK!! We are so excited to have this free, fun, family, community event again. On multiple access levels, there will be games, make your own crafts of party hats and 2022 glasses, science shows, puppet shows, glow in the dark dance party, take-home goody bags, and of course, the HUGE 900+ balloon drop with a countdown to noon, complete with on-the-big screens fireworks and bubble wrap popping all around.

Follow a scavenger hunt throughout the library and earn prizes as you go. Create a party hat, earn 2022 glasses, and finish the day off with a fun photo at our photo booth! Open to kids of all ages and their grown-up.

Noon Year’s Eve includes jumping, sliding, racing, and more. At the end, there will be a Glow in the Dark Balloon Drop. There will be noisemakers, hats, and a big countdown. Registration is strongly suggested due to a normally sold-out event. Parents are free.

We’re excited to host our annual Noon Year’s Eve event this year! Join us to ring in 2022 with special activities, experiences, and an official count down. Join West Des Moines Parks and Recreation for a very special version of Parents’ Night Out to close out the year 2021! These extended hours will give parents the opportunity to take a little more time to close out the year while their kids are having the time of their life with them! They will be having an early balloon drop, fun NYE-themed activities and crafts, glow-in-the-dark dance party, open playtime, snacks, and of course a pizza party. $30 per person.
