Midway Park in Ankeny, Iowa
Midway Park is Ankeny’s newest park. My kids loved exploring this new neighborhood park. It is simple, yet has several unique elements that keep my kids engaged. They loved the multispinner carousel and I loved how easy it was to push. The main play structure invites kids to hang, sway, balance, slide, and slide. My kids could not get enough of the wackle bridge. It was fun to see my more timid child face their fears and cross them. They were so proud of themselves!
The park also offers a simple 2-5-year-old playground, swings, a tunnel, and a springer seat.

Midway Park is located less than 1/2 of a mile from Ankeny High School. This would be a perfect spot to check out before or after attending an event at the high school. Midway Park is also less than a mile from the new Ankeny Library.
