Smash Play – Fun for Everyone!
Smash Park is located in West Des Moines and offers food, drinks, and games all under one roof. “The Yard” area has two pickleball courts, two shuffleboard courts, two bocce ball courts, cornhole, giant beer pong, ladder ball, ring toss, and foosball. Whoa!
The indoor gaming area is just as amazing. There are two retro gaming lounges with a variety of games such as ping pong, darts, and giant Connect 4 and Jenga games. There is also an arcade. Bonus tip: the arcade is free all day on Sunday!
Be sure to check out “The Courts” – the heart of Smash Park. Any skill level can play pickleball, and they also offer leagues, tournaments, and lessons. Servers come to the courts, so there’s no need to stop your game to order a drink!
With both indoor and outdoor opportunities to play, Smash Park serves up fun year-round.
Smash Restaurant Options
“The Hall” is where you are able to eat and drink in Smash Park’s large seating area. They have a full bar, serving craft cocktails and local Des Moines brews.
You order food by going to “The Kitchen” area to place your order. They will text you when your food is ready and you go back to The Kitchen to pick it up. Smash food includes lots of shareable appetizers like “pickleballs” and buffalo fries, as well as entrees such as flatbread pizzas, burgers, chicken, wraps, and salads. Their food is amazing!
Once you purchase drinks or food at one of the stations, they keep your card open so no matter where you are within Smash Park you can order something without doing several transactions.
“The Deck” is for guests 21 years and older, and it’s a great place to hang out with friends or enjoy date night. The Deck overlooks Smash Park and offers two 18-foot shuffleboard tables and lots of TVs.
Sports fan? Smash Park Des Moines offers sports betting and live sports watch parties on their 30-foot TV wall and more than 80 TVs.
