Get Your Kids to Drink Milk – Try These

My kids have never really been big fans of drinking plain white milk.  I’ve tried dairy, soy, rice and almond all with the same results.  Sure they will drink chocolate and strawberry milk, but that adds a ton of unneeded sugar into their diet.  So my challenge became, how do I get my kids to drink milk and benefit from all the nutrition milk provides?   Then one day I found Got Milk? Magic Straws at my local Target store.  At first glance I figured they were just another artificially flavored, high sugar way to get kids to drink milk.  I picked up the package and began reading and was pleasantly surprised.  It read “Magic Straws turn milk into a treat without adding all the artificial sugars and ingredients found in flavoring syrups and powders.“.  That sounded good, definitely worth a shot.  I decided to go with 2 different flavors, the strawberry and the cookies & cream (4 flavors to choose from).  When I got home from the store I offered them to the kids and they were excited to try them out.  All I had to do was put the Magic Straws in a glass of milk and when the kids sucked up the milk it was magically turned into a new flavor!  The kids loved it.  I finally found the answer to getting my kids to drink milk.  Got Milk? Magic Straws are definitely worth giving a try if your children don’t like drinking milk.
