Walt Disney World | Let a Professional Do the Planning
Last September our family traveled to the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World
. While I am usually am on top of writing about our travel experiences
once we return, there was too much to write about. I could give you amazing tips, tell you things to see and do, where to eat, what shows to go to and more. I cannot take all the credit. We were smart enough to let a professional do the planning. Our Disney Vacation Planner, Julie Larsen
takes all the credit. Without her planning and suggestions, our experience would not have been so magical.
I have invited Julie to share about why using a Disney Vacation Planner (Julie to be specific!) is the best way to book and plan your trip to Walt Disney World.
Vacationing to Walt Disney World is an amazing experience and something many families will do at least once. While Disney vacations are a magical, memorable, one-of-a-kind experience, there is a lot of planning to do before you travel.
Walt Disney World is made up of 4 theme parks:
- Magic Kingdom
- Hollywood Studio
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Two water parks
- Disney Springs
- ESPN World Wide of Sports
- and over 30 Disney resorts
There are special events taking place during most times of the year including but not limited to:
- Run Disney Events
- The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
- The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
- Epcot Festival of the Arts
- Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
- and many more!
Deciding when to go and what resort to stay at are the first two decisions that are made when planning. There are over 200 restaurants to eat at and dining reservations for table service meals can be made starting 180 days in advance. Fastpasses for rides and attractions which can be made starting 60 days in advance for those staying at a Disney resort. Magical Extras to add on, golf and mini golf, spas reservations and so much more.
If this sounds overwhelming to plan, it doesn’t have to be. When you book your Disney vacation with me, I am completely free to use. I help you select the right resort for your family and budget. I help you select the right length, and type, of park tickets to get. We go over the different dining plan options and decide if you want to add that on to your package as well as the Memory Maker photo package and Travel Protection. I help you set up your My Disney Experience account and make your dining reservations for you at 5 am 180 days in advance and your FastPass selections at 6 am 180 days in advance. I provide customized itineraries and am the one contact you need throughout the planning process.
Is a vacation to Walt Disney World expensive?
It can be, but it doesn’t have to break the bank. When you book only a $200 deposit is due and the remaining balance is not due until at least 30 days before you travel, giving you plenty of time to save up and make payments along the way.
Is it worth the planning and money?
110%. The memories you make with your family are priceless. Seeing the castle for the first (or 20th) time, watching your child’s eyes light up when they meet their favorite character, seeing the brave look your child (or yourself) gives while conquering a new ride, standing with your family watching the fireworks and getting tears in your eyes. These are all reasons to take the trip. The “Disney bubble” is real and you truly feel like you are removed from the real world while on vacation there, it is worth every penny.
If you have been before there is always something new to experience (and a perfect reason to go back.) Pandora – The World of Avatar, Toy Story Land, Star Wars Land, many new rides, shows, and dining experiences are always there to try for the first time. No trip to Walt Disney World is ever the same and it is a perfect vacation for every age, the kid and the kid at heart. Walt Disney said it best when he said:
“That’s the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget. Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have children’s approach to life…..They are not afraid to be delighted with the simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought…”
If you are also interested in a Disneyland or Disney Cruise vacation, I can help with those as well. Disneyland is where it all started with Walt’s Dream. Disney Cruise’s will allow you to experience a different kind of magic. Many cruises stopping at Disney’s Private Island Castaway Cay.
