My little boy turned 5 years old last week. He is growing too fast! With his birthday being in the dead of Winter, finding a great place for him to run, play and celebrate can be hard. Sky Zone Trampoline Park has always been our favorite place to bounce in Central Iowa and I am extremely happy we ended up choosing them for our party. They made the process extremely smooth from when I booked the party, until the moment we walked out the door.
When we arrived it was crazy busy! After all, it was a Sunday afternoon before an ice storm! Great way to get all the kids out to burn off some energy.
When I walked in the door I saw a welcome sign that read “Monte’s Party!” I loved how they had this right in front, not only did I know where to go, but all the parents’ knew where to drop off their children before the party. Checking-in went very smoothly. I signed a contract that confirmed everything we had discussed over the phone, let them know what type of pizza and drink we wanted, and was given a little breakdown of how the next two hours would run.
We also were given a few carts where everyone could place their personal belongings and gifts. Our “party guide” made sure to take it to our party room, while the kids were jumping. About 5 minutes before our jump time our guide placed stickers on all the kids. The sticker was a way to identify how long they were jumping, where they were able to jump and that they were in our party. This is a great way for the supervisors, who watch the jumpers, to know what is going on.
After everyone was checked-in we were guided to our own private court to jump. When booking the party, I was a little concerned about 4 and 5 year old kids jumping with a bunch of older kids. I was happy when I discovered that we received our own court as a part of our package. This way the kids could jump, run and play all they wanted. We also spent some time in the foam pit, which was a hit!
After our 1-hour of jump time our guide came to get us and guided us to our personal party room. I was impressed on how everything was all set-up. They displayed our cupcakes we brought (you can also purchase cupcakes through Sky Zone), a chalkboard was created wishing Monte a happy birthday, and they had hung all the coats on the hooks! They also served the pizza, drinks and cupcakes to the children and adults (we had lots of leftovers!) One of the guides also made a gift list for me, as Monte was tearing open his presents. I did absolutely nothing!
If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate a birthday and you do not want to worry about set-up, clean-up and planning, I highly recommend Sky Zone Trampoline Park!
