I am extremely excited about a new grocery store that has been built in our community … Fresh Thyme Farmers Market!
Fresh Thyme opened last Wednesday and held fun events, activities, live music, specials and more through out the week and weekend to celebrate their grand opening! I finally got a chance to check it out and I was impressed!
First off, I loved the fact that there was playing guitar in the middle of the store. Even though it was packed, it made the entire atmosphere more fun and laid back.
There are lots of similarities to Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and Natural Grocers, but overall Fresh Thyme is my favorite!
Some highlights of the store were:
The salad bar! I even had dinner in there little cafe and enjoyed every bite! 
Bulk Oils & Liquids. What a great idea! I do not remember seeing something like this at any of the other health food stores.
Bulk coffee! Fresh Market offered something like this, but I found an all new favorite here! The Michigan Cherry smells amazing and tastes wonderful. I highly recommend it. And what a great price!
They have lots of USDA Organic produce at great, comparable prices!
I absolutely loved this idea! They bag ripe bananas for you, at a discounted price! If you are planning on making banana bread, this is the place to purchase your bananas!
Freshly squeezed juice, made fresh daily! I love this. What a great idea!
Bulk spices. I have been reading more & more that spices go bad! Sometimes you need just a little bit for a recipe. Here, you can purchase as little, or as much as you want!
SALT WATER TAFFY! Need I say more?!?
The health section is very extensive and includes bath & beauty products, supplements, vitamins, and so much more.
The bulk section is huge! There are lots of options from oats & flours to snack food item and nuts. A great place to check for healthy snacks.
I came across this sign too 🙂 I love how they include the kids while shopping! This will help keep them busy!
I definitely recommend shopping at Fresh Thyme for all your grocery and health needs 🙂 They have a great selection and variety of products. They are also working hard to help our community.
