Looking for something to do over Spring Break with the kiddos that won’t break the bank?  Check out these great options at the Urbandale Library.

SPRING BREAK – Family Story Times – It’s Not Easy Being Green
Saturday, March 14th at 10:30 am; Monday, March 16th at 10:00 am; Tuesday, March 17th at 7:00 pm in the Story Room
Families with children ages two years and up can listen to green stories, do activities and make a craft during this 30 minute program. No registration.

SPRING BREAK – Life-Size Candyland Game
Tuesday, March 17th from 10:00 to 10:45 am in Meeting Room A/B
Families with kids ages 3 and up can drop by the Library and participate in some candy land games and make a craft. No registration.

SPRING BREAK – Kids in Harmony, Family Music Time
Wednesday, March 18th from 10:00 to 10:30 am in Meeting Room A/B
Families with children ages 1 to 6 are invited to join a music therapist from Kids in Harmony for a thirty minute interactive music class. No registration

SPRING BREAK – The Science of Candy
Thursday, March 19th from 10:00 to 10:45 am in Meeting Room A/B
Kids ages 8 to 11 are invited to explore the properties of a variety of sweet treats. Participants will discover why some candies are sour, separate out and analyze the color of candies, mix and make fudge in a bag, and see how far they can catapult candy corn. Space is limited. Please register by calling 331-4490 by Wednesday, March 18th.

SPRING BREAK – Family Movie
Friday, March 20th at 10:00 am in Meeting Room A/B
Bring the whole family to enjoy a 1971 musical about a poor boy who wins the opportunity to tour the most eccentric and wonderful candy factory of all. Rated G/100 min.
