Sitters For a Night Out: Last Minute Child Watch!

I know and many other parents know, that a date night at least once a month, if not more is vital for any relationship. We can plan all we want and sometimes things go as planned and sometimes they don’t! Children get sick, family comes into town, we work late, and on …. and on!

I am excited to share with you something new and awesome I came across for Central Iowa families … Sitters For a Night Out! After Kurt and Bailey struggled, personally, with finding reliable childcare for their son, they decided they would help out other parents by offering and starting up their own business Sitters For a Night Out.

Kurt and Bailey are engaged and have a son Keaton, who is 5 years old. Kurt with a culinary background, loves to cook tasty meals! Bailey works full-time at Unity Point Children’s Development Center, is a mandatory reporter, CPR/First aid certified, and has worked with children for more then 10 years! There is no age minimum required and they are both familiar with breastmilk and cloth diaper friendly. When you put these three together, you know your children are eating yummy treats, safe and have an awesome playmate who loves legos! 🙂

Sitters For a Night Out is conveniently located at the Vine Lofts at 101 2nd Avenue. They are near Court Avenue, Science Center, Principal Park, and everything else downtown has to offer. They want to be as convenient as possible. Park in a ramp, drop your kiddos off and head to one of the many restaurants downtown for dinner.

Hours & Times? Since Kurt and Bailey work full-time they are available most weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends. There is no need to reserve a spot, but the more notice you give, the more likely you will have a spot! They  do understand sometimes date nights come up last minute, so they are open to last minute requests. If you would like overnight care (after 10 pm) they require a days notice.

Cost? $8.00 – $12.00. The price varies depending on age and quantity.
