Night at the Museum

Forest Park Museum and Arboretum

As 2018 comes to an end, join us for this special hands-on look back at history. The museum building will be open, the popcorn will be fresh, and there will be special activities for visitors of all ages. New Year’s Eve LEGO Movie-A-Thon

Join us for a New Year’s Eve Lego movie marathon! During the movies, we will have legos, DUPLO’s and Mega-Bloks and LEGO-themed crafts available for you to build and create with, and many Lego books and materials for you to read and check out. Ages 8-12 years.

New Year’s Eve STEM

South Side Library

Kids! Celebrate New Year’s Eve early at South with a science experiment and crafts! Stop in and make confetti poppers to take home, or concoct a glitter volcano from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For youth ages 5-12. Parent or guardian must be present with children. Materials will be available while supplies last.

Come to celebrate the New Year with Mother Nature. Activities will include a short nature hike, noisemaker craft, animal-themed snack and a countdown to midnight. Pre-registration required; deadline is December 27. Fee: $5.

Why let Mom and Dad have all the fun this New Year’s Eve? Have your own party! We will be bringing in 2019 in style at Camp Hantesa! Stay up late, dance, play games and much more. Meals and snacks provided.
