Need Some Stress Relief? Try Yoga in the Park

Parents and the word stress seem to go hand and hand.  I mean what parent doesn’t need a little break and a chance to unwind.  Well, here is your chance.

Des Moines Parks and Recreation and UnityPoint Health Des Moines invite you to enjoy your Saturday mornings by participating in a free weekly yoga session at Gray’s Lake this summer.  Maximize your stress relief by practicing yoga on the southeast lawn.

The class will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and will be held every Saturday beginning June 7 through September 27.

Local volunteer instructors lead each session, which means you’ll have a different yoga experience each week!  You are encouraged to bring a mat or a towel as well as some water and clothes you can move in. No registration for the class is required……..just show up ready to relax, release and enjoy.
