Reiman Gardens, in Ames, is hosting the Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks again!

Nature Connects_ Art with LEGO Bricks

The exhibit will feature new sculpture beginning April 23rd through October 31st. A great reason to check out Reiman Gardens this summer!

The exhibit features 13 larger than life displays, made with 500,000 LEGO brick pieces by artist Sean Kenney. This exhibit will fascinate all children and adults!


Sculptures include:

  • Birdbath with Birds, Bees, Squirrel
  • Bonsai Tree
  • Corn Spider
  • Galapagos Tortoise with Darwin Finch
  • Gardener & Grandchild
  • Herd of Deer
  • Hummingbird on Trumpet Flower
  • Monarch Butterfly on Milkweed
  • Pansy Bloom with Bee
  • Peacock
  • Photo-Op Face Cut Out Mosaic
  • Roseate Skimmer Dragonfly
  • Wheelbarrow with Tools

This year Reiman Gardens will celebrate color as their theme. There will be garden-inspired Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks sculptures in classic bold colors, to a rainbow of tulips! There will also be bright colored paintings in the Children’s Garden.
