Branson Dinner Show | Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Attraction
Our family loves to travel and when we travel, we love to experience new and iconic things wherever we visit. The Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Attraction is just that. Now in their 25th season, not only do they offer amazing food, but this Branson dinner show is jaw-dropping.
Branson, Missouri is known for their amazing live shows and fun attractions. The Dolly Parton Stampede Dinner Attraction is one to be added to your Midwest bucket list. When we arrived at the beautiful Stampede, I had no idea what to expect. I knew there was going to be some delicious food, some horses, music, and rumor had it that there was no silverware available. I was ready to take it all in!
The Horse Walk
As you walk into the large building you are taken through a path called ‘The Horse Walk’ where you can meet the horses of the show. They are all so beautiful and very well taken care of. As a horse lover, I think about the happiness of these beautiful creatures. Their horses love doing what they do. Each horses trainer knows how to read their cues so they know if they may need a break. If they do need a break, they are sent to pasture.
These horses love performing for hundreds every night. It was wonderful to be able to meet each horse and learn their names.
The Carriage Room Opening Act
Not only do you get to experience a thrilling dinner show, but The Carriage Room Opening Act begins 50 minutes prior to the dinner show. You will want to make sure you plan ahead so you do not meet this fun and entertaining act. Grab a Dolly Parton Stampede Dinner Attraction souvenir mug boot and a seat.
The White River Wranglers are so talented and were the perfect way to unwind and prepare us for the final attraction. Not only do these three brothers three-part harmonies sound great, but they are also super entertaining as well.
The food. Oh, the food! Each person is served a four-course feast which includes an entire whole rotisserie chicken, a slice of smoked barbeque pork loin, a cup of delicious creamy vegetable soup (a Stampede’s original), homemade biscuit, mini corn on the cob, slice of potato, a homemade apple turnover, and pop, water or coffee. They do offer vegetarian and gluten-free options as well.
Up until very recently, you had to eat all the food you were served by hand. Just a few months ago they began offering forks. If you want to participate in the true Dolly Parton Stampede Dinner Attraction, lose that fork!
