Heartland Youth Choir, founded in 2003, provides a performance-based program for youth that emphasizes musical literacy and character development. Heartland Youth Choir provides a unique opportunity for children of diverse backgrounds with a particular aptitude in vocal music to explore that interest beyond their school setting. Quality literature from all styles and periods forms the foundation for this exploration.

Kindergarten - 3rd grade singers will enjoy five mornings of singing and summer fun, ending with a final musical performance on Friday! Singers participate in full choir rehearsals, musicianship training, folk games, and movement activities.

4th-8th grade singers will enjoy five full days of singing and summer fun, ending with a final musical performance on Friday! Singers participate in full choir rehearsals, musicianship training, musical theater, sectional rehearsals, and movement activities. Daily excursions may include trips to the Science Center, Zoo, water parks, or Adventureland, or fun activities like Bowling and Laser Tag.
