I have officially completed the Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping Challenge!
These past 10-weeks have been a great learning experience for me and I have had a blast! On Saturday, we did our final testing. I am amazed how much I have grown physically these past 10-weeks. Check my half-way results here.
Measurements: Overall I lost a few inches all over, nothing drastic, but I lost!
Mile Run: During our orientation testing I ran the mile in 14 minutes. On Saturday, I ran the mile in 11 minutes 27 seconds! I cut my mile time by 2 minutes and 33 seconds. I am not a fan of running, but I am super proud that my endurance level has increased this much.
Push-Ups: Week one I did 28 push-ups, final testing I did 46 push-ups!
Sit-Ups: Week one I did 24 sit-ups, final testing I did 35 push-ups!
Sit & Reach: Flexibility has never been my thing. It increased by .25.
Weight & Body Fat Percentage: Weight, weight, weight. It is always the question that is asked. This past 10-weeks I have lost 4.4 pounds and lost 4.1% body fat. I was extremely shocked when I discovered how much body fat I had lost. This shows you that even though you may not be seeing the number go down on the scale, does not mean your body is building muscle, cutting fat and changing.
When I started the Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping challenge, I had personal goals. It was not only about losing weight, but it was about becoming healthier, more aware of my body, and showing my family how to live a healthy lifestyle. Within the past 10-weeks I have achieved all of the above!
- I am more aware of what foods effect my body negatively
- I meal prep which allows me to stay on track through the week.
- When I miss a workout, I can definitely tell how it effects my day.
- My entire family has began eating healthier and my kids even help prepare meals!
- I feel strong and confident.
- I feel like I have gained a new “family” at Farrell’s and love going every morning.
This 10-week challenge is not the ending of this new lifestyle, I have joined the Farrell’s Maintenance program and am excited to continue to grow and change physically!
