Banana Splits, a new program for children ages 3 & over, from Des Moines Parks and Rec is a great inexpensive way for your child to develop better balance, rhythm, muscle coordination, social interaction, listening skills, patience and learning with new friends.

This program focuses on enhancing your little ones confidence, balance and eye hand coordination. Participants learn how to be a better listener, improve motor skills and concentration. Children with the aid of their adult companion learn together. Parents, grandparents, siblings, guardians are invited to bring their child to learn with others. Participants will use the following equipment balance beam, climbing wall, parachutes, tumbling mats, agility equipment, Imagination playground equipment (extra large sized tinker toys coated foam shapes), nerf balls, etc. Banana Splits offers a great opportunity for developing your little ones life skills, in a fun and safe environment.
