For the most of us, school starts next week. We have been slowly preparing ourselves the past week with a new routine. One of the things we have been starting again, is meal planning! Once school starts, so does extracurricular activities and if you do not have a plan in place for meals, you end up eating unhealthy and spending a lot more money. I am so happy I was introduced to the Dinner Hero meals because they help with all of the above.
Dinner Hero meals come in four delicious options. We have already tried the Smoky Tomato and Fiesta Taco and have been impressed. These meals are prepared in 30 minutes, are healthy and are a great way to introduced new flavors to the entire family.
Each meal contains over 40 grams of whole grains, no artificial colors or flavors. Just add your protein and whatever other healthy toppings you may have around!
Each box has three steps that can be done within 30 minutes. I timed it to make sure!
1. Cook the grain blend which contain a brown rice and quinoa blend.
2. Saute your protein. Depending on the meal it may be chicken, ground beef or turkey, or spicy sausage. Once thoroughly cooked, add a punch of flavor with adding the Hero sauce packet and spices.
3. Spoon into four bowls and add any additional toppings you may like.
