#1 Christmas Tip for Parents

#1 Christmas Tip for Parents

Christmas time can be stressful.  Traveling, dealing with relatives and the finances that go along with buying presents can turn a joyous occasion into a stressful one very easily.  Don’t add to that stress!  Listen to my #1 Christmas tip for parents.  Are you ready?  Here it is:

Open up and put together all presents that require assembly before you wrap them.

Yep that’s it.  This one thing will help you enjoy your Christmas time with your family and save you hours of assembling toys on Christmas Day/Eve with your kids there bugging you as they wait.  Trust me, for I have learned this the hard way.  I remember when my daughter was 2 and seeing her open present after present that required assembly.  And I’m not just talking a few snaps and I was done.  I’m talking 25 page manuals with small print and diagrams.  Not too much fun for daddy.

So this Christmas prepare and plan ahead.  If you’ve already wrapped your presents, unwrap them.  Take the time now to put the toys together and have it ready to play with for your kiddo.  Don’t worry, your kids won’t care if its not in the original box and you might actually have time to share in the Christmas joy with them as they play with their toys.

Have a Safe and Happy Holidays!
