STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair

There is another great reason to attend the 2017 Iowa State Fair. STEM Day is taking over the Grand Concourse again.

Join families on Sunday, August 2oth. There will be several opportunitues to learn about STEM and the way it touches peoples lives daily. You will be able to do hands-on activities from approximately 25 organizations across Iowa.

The STEM booth will be located on the East end of the STEM exhibits and will be handing out FREE drawstring backpacks. You can also participate in the “STEM Day at the Fair Checklist” for a chance to win prizes.

You will also not want to miss unforgettable performances on the STEM stage. Performances will happen every hour. The STEM stage will be located with the exhibits on the Grand Concourse.

All festivities begin at 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and is included with your admission tickets to the Iowa State Fair. They are also discounted that day!

  • $6 for adults ages 12+
  • $3 for children ages 6-11
  • Free for children under age 5
