National Geographic Kids: Heroes & Heroines + Giveaway!

We are huge superhero fans in our family. Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Hulk, you name it our kiddos know who they are and what their super powers are. When I came across The Book of Heroes and The Book of Heroines, I was so excited to look through and share real-life superheroes with them!

Most of our children know about Batman, Superman and all of our make-believe heroes, but introducing them to true stories about amazing people, who have changed our world is inspiring. This is a great way to show our children, that they can also be a superhero!

Some great heroes and heroines who are highlighted through the books are Mother Theresa, Tina Fey (who knew?!), Michael Jordan, Stephen Hawking, and many, many more!

Both books are a great way to share with your children that you do not need to have a super power such as x-ray vision, flying, etc. to be a superhero. Super powers include being courageous, never quitting, doing the right thing, inspiring others, and more!

If you are looking for a birthday present or Christmas present (because it is just around the corner), I highly recommend these books! They are great for all ages, with beautiful pictures and amazing information.
