Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

I love celebrating special themed days and when it’s one of my favorite authors, it’s even better! Dr. Seuss was born March 2nd in 1904. In the past few year’s libraries, schools, communities, and families have started the tradition to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday and all of his fun stories.

There are several ways you and your kiddos can celebrate:

  • For breakfast, Green Eggs & Ham anyone?
  • Crafts, crafts and more crafts! Pinterest is loaded with fun crafts, activities and snacks.
  • Make it a family movie night and watch your favorite Dr. Seuss Movie! There are so many to choose from: The Lorax, Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, or even How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
  • Visit the library and check-out your favorite Dr. Seuss story. Below, are special events some local libraries and stores are hosting to celebrate!
  • Note: I also have seen some fun items in the $1 bins at Target!
