Enjoy breakfast at 8:30 am and watch the movie HOP at 9 am! $5! Then meet him for photos at his Springtime home, Target Court!

Easter Bunny at Valley West Mall

Visit the Easter Bunny at Center Court March 4th through March 26th! The Easter Bunny will be in Center Court to visit with boys and girls. Ride the train for only $2.00 per ticket or 3 for $5.00. Bunny’s hours are Monday-Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm. The Easter Bunny will be at Valley West Mall from Friday, March 4 – Saturday, March 26th . Valley West Mall will be closed Easter Sunday.

Carousel of Colors Egg Hunt

Co sponsored by The Heritage Carousel and Avon. This free program includes free carousel rides, Avon makeup stations and Des Moines Police canine units. The egg hunts, divided into age categories, start at 11:10 am.

Easter Egg Hunt: Altoona

Geocaching Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 26th

Annett Nature Center 

Join Warren County Conservation for a high-tech outdoor easter egg hunt. You will use a GPS unit to find eggs (and candy!) hidden throughout the park, geocaching style! This adds an extra challenge and a lot of hiking fun to your typical egg hunt. We will have a simple egg hunt set up in our butterfly garden for toddlers.  Easter Egg Hunt: Pleasant Hill

Saturday, March 26th 

10 am – 11 am 

Doanes Park 

Join fellow community members at the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March, 26. The hunt will begin at 10 am. Meant for children up to age 12. Event is hosted by the Pleasant Hill Fire Department and Pleasant Hill Parks & Recreation.

Easter Egg Hunt: Colby Park

Saturday, March 26th 

9 am 

Colby Park, Windsor Heights 

The annual Easter egg hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 26 at 9:00AM in Colby Park. Ages 5 and under will hunt in the tennis courts, ages 6-9 will hunt in the ball fields, and ages 10-12 will hunt in front of the Community Center. Come say hi and get your photo taken with the Easter Bunny and Sparky the fire dog! There will be 7,000 candy and prize-filled eggs. The event will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.

The GREAT Egg Hunt!

Giovannetti Community Shelter, Urbandale 

Kids (ages 10 and under) fill up your baskets with ALL the candy and eggs they see! Some eggs even have a few special prizes in them! Meet at the parking lot at the Giovannetti Community Shelter for the send off! Come early, as we send off right at 10 a.m. and eggs are found quickly! FREE!

Easter Egg Hunt: Waukee

Saturday, March 26th

Hop on over and fill baskets full of candy at Waukee’s annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Waukee Parks and Recreation Department! There will be three age groups: 4 & under, 5-7 years old and 8-10 years old. FREE!

Grimes Easter Eggstravaganza

Activities start at 9:00am including: Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Games, Bounce House, Coloring Contest with Prizes! Egg Hunt starts at 10:40am! Special events from Crossroads Community Church!

Easter EGGstravaganza

There will be Easter Egg Hunts for the following age divisions:
2 to 3-year-olds
4-year-olds to Kindergarteners
First and Second Graders
Third through Fourth Graders

Lots of Prizes!
Every Easter Egg can be redeemed for a small prize. Certain eggs will be for bigger prize baskets. Kids will also have a chance to enter drawings for prizes to be awarded in the Easter Kids Church services the next day.

Games and Activities
While waiting for their age group’s Egg Hunt, kids are invited to particpate in other games and activities, such as Easter Manicure, Egg Decorating, Inflatables, Easter Ring Toss, and more.

What About Bad Weather?
If it becomes too cold or rainy, we will move the egg hunts inside the church building. Many of the other activities will take place inside the facility as well.

The Easter Bunny will be “hopping” to our Easter Egg Hunt at the Prairie Ridge Aquatics Center on Saturday, March 26! This year, our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be on the grounds near the Prairie Ridge Aquatics Center where there is plenty of grass—plenty of parking—plenty of space, and lots of FUN! Don’t forget to bring your Easter basket!!

Easter egg hunt, craft & activities, animals, pictures with the Easter Bunny and so much more! Participate in the Golden Egg Hunt! There will be clues each day of the week leading up to Eggstravaganza pointing you in the right direction of the eggs. The first guest to find one of the five golden eggs on March 26 will be rewarded with a prize. Can you solve our riddles? Bring your Easter basket, your family and all your friends for the 6th Annual Eggs, Eggs Everywhere! This is a one-of-a-kind urban family experience with more than 12,000 candy- and prize-filled eggs, music, games and laughter. The event is brought to you by The Gateway Church and is completely FREE! After the massive egg hunt, stick around for more family fun at the Kids’ Art Station, Giant Inflatables Area and the Face Painting Station. 6th Annual Egg Dive

Urbandale Swimming Pool 

Join us for the 6th Annual Egg Dive! This has become very popular in Urbandale, growing each year, so come early! Children will be divided in age groups to dive for colored eggs in the pool. Each egg will be turned in for a prize!
Time: Diving will begin with the youngest age group at 1:30 p.m. and continue until all age groups have participated
Cost: $5 per person entering the pool area; $1 with annual pass

Special Egg Event 

3 pm – 5 pm

Valley Stadium

The Special Egg Event is a free Easter egg hunt for children with special needs and their families. Join us at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines. Enjoy food, carnival games, activity areas, and egg hunts that are designed for your child.
