Sometimes you wish you could get away with the family for a nice long vacation.  The problem is you don’t have the time or the money.  Luckily, in Central Iowa you have the option of getting away for one night or a couple of nights while still having some family fun.  Or maybe just forget the kids and have a parents night away treating yourself to some well deserved rest.  Sound good?  Well, look no further than Adventureland Inn.

Adventureland Inn is a year round destination for families of all ages. Relax, splash or slide in their two tropical courtyards that include three pools, playful water features, a swim up bar, and two hot tubs.  Adventureland Inn is also the official hotel of Adventureland Park and has a trolley to take hotel guests to the park during the summer season.

Pools

They have two different courtyard areas.  The West Courtyard has one ‘L’ shaped pool that goes from 3-5 foot of water with two 6 foot slides.  This courtyard also offers a 10-15 person hot tub.  Their East Courtyard offers a 3 foot pool with a swim up bar for both adults and children.  This courtyard also has a zero depth entry pool so little ones can easily access the pool area.  The kiddie pool has dumping buckets, mushroom water feature, and a 3 foot frog slide.  Lastly, this courtyard offers a 20-24 person hot tub.  Both courtyards offer seating areas for those who wish to stay dry. **A sleeping room must be purchased to be able to swim.**

Rooms

Adventureland Inn has an assortment of different room types ranging from Standard accommodations to Suites.  All of the sleeping rooms come with two queen size beds, a Kuerig Coffee Maker, flat screen television, mini refrigerator, and wristbands for swimming amenities.  They also  have pool side rooms that have balconies for easy access to the courtyard pool areas. Suites have two queen beds and a sleeper sofa sleeping 6 people per suite.  The suites also come with a second refrigerator as well as a microwave.  Their largest suites have two rooms which consist of a sleeping room with the two queen beds and a living room area with the sleeper sofa. Standard and pool side rooms come with 5 wristbands to swim and Suites come with 6 wristbands to swim.  Additional wristbands are $20 per band.

Sleeping room rates run from $109 plus tax to $279 plus tax.  Rates depend on the time of the year as well as the type of room.

Birthday Parties

Adventureland Inn has a birthday party package for an additional $100 with any sleeping room.  The package includes 6 extra wristbands, 3 large one topping pizzas, and 3 two liters of soda.  This package may only be purchased with a sleeping room.
